CURRENT AND UPCOMING MERIT BADGE OPPORTUNITIES

CURRENTLY BEING OFFERED:

Mr.Manthey will be finishing up First Aid Merit Badge by pulling each candidate aside for an exam. This will be taking place at every available meeting so be ready when your name is called. You will be tested orally on all book requirements – so make sure you know them.

Mr. Rauh is in the process of Communications Merit Badge and all of you in the class should be in contact with him for any updates.

Mr. Aho is looking for people interested in finishing or perhaps starting Leatherworking Merit Badge. If you have a partial from camp last year contact him for details on how to finish up.

We will possibly be starting the New Retro Carpentry Merit Badge. Carpentry was an old badge that BSA has brought back for the 100th Anniversary of Scouting. The idea is to make two sets of Corn Hole games for the Troop. We would do this badge as a troop.

BOARD OF REVIEW

After you have completed all the requirements for your rank, you need to schedule a Board of Review. These need to be scheduled through Mr. Burgess - Advancement Chair. You will need to contact him and get on the list. Board of Reviews are scheduled to take place, if needed, the third Tuesday of each month, but remember - this is by appointment only. Do not show up expecting a Board if you have not arranged for one.
You need to be in complete Class A uniform and you need to bring your handbook for review.
